TPG Records is a label started in 1998 in Detroit which focused on local Industrial and Goth Rock music. We have released music by SDU, Hypodermic, Lenore, D:Konstruct, Placid Art, Keltix, Ricky Flynn, OPPFOR, Cyberia Organica, Transoceana & Criminology, and have been featured on several compilation records in conjunction with the Detroit Electronica Coalition representing Detroit EDM.  We have evolved and have expanded our focus to more of an “indie” style however we are not defined by one genre and feel that a label can exist that promotes more than one type of music or sub - culture. We are not bound by the constraints of one music scene. Our goal is to expand our roster and sales as well as cross - pollinate good music from scene to scene.

I have always been fascinated by music and the cultures surrounding it. I am somewhat obsessed with it, I have found some footholds and met some tremendous people. I have encountered many obstacles in music, some have been overcome, friends have come and gone, and some people have helped me to become a better musician and more importantly, a better person. I keep looking toward the future and what state music will be in within the next ten years as well as the rest of my lifetime. We are at the threshold of great things, and extraordinary technology and I am glad to be here to experience what the future has in store for the music world & beyond.

I've always wanted to know what makes the music industry tick.  I've always wanted to see it from the musician's side and the business side.  Working with TPG Records has helped me get my foot in the door and help me figure it out more or less.  But whether you look at it from the musician's side or the business side, both sides are just as unpredictable as the other.  Even though it's crazy 90% of the time, being a part of the music community has led me to meet many inspiring people.  It's given me something to do, something to look forward to, and something to work at.  The main goal for us at TPG is to look toward the future as a blank slate and then build on it, and if someone wants to be a part of it, they need to put their 110% into it.  Anyone who is willing to do that is more than welcome to hop on this crazy ride with us.
